Learning Management System

As part of Message Stick’s broader future of work strategy, we designed the Mpower Learning Platform — a personalised, tech-enabled Learning Management System (LMS) built to deliver microcredentials and scalable workforce training.

The goal was to create a platform that could help Message Stick transition from one-off training engagements to a more sustainable, long-term service offering, while strengthening their role in workforce development and amplifying their Indigenous identity through inclusive, accessible education initiatives.

The Problem Space

CHALLENGES

As workplaces undergo rapid digital transformation, many organisations — particularly those with limited resources — struggle to equip their teams with the skills needed to thrive. We recognised an urgent need to bridge digital skill gaps and offer scalable, future-focused learning solutions. However, existing training options were fragmented, labour-intensive to maintain, and not tailored to the evolving demands of the future of work. A new, personalised, and scalable approach was essential to meet both client needs and Message Stick’s broader ambitions for growth and social impact.

  • Digital Fluency: Clients required training that could close digital skill gaps and keep pace with rapid technological change.

  • Brand Expansion: Message Stick needed a product that reflected its Indigenous identity while appealing to a broad corporate audience.

  • Personalised Career Paths: Using the Career Accelerator tool, MPower maps individual competencies, digital fluency, and career goals to create custom learning journeys.

  • Flexible, Modular Content: Microcredentials developed with leading universities and industry experts cover both technical skills and soft skills essential for the future of work.

  • AI-Driven Adaptability: Content is automatically updated using AI to reflect new technologies and workplace trends, reducing manual maintenance.

  • Social Learning Features: Peer Learning Hubs and AI Assist tools encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and personalised discovery.

  • Robust Analytics: Admin dashboards provide real-time insights into learner progress, workforce capability gaps, and organisational performance trends.
